Retail food establishments must publicly post notice of any cost-plus pricing formula (where items are marked at cost plus a surcharge) before imposing such pricing on grocery items

Required signage must be displayed on the front sidewalk within 15 feet of each entrance and on a sign inside each entrance

Violations constitute a misdemeanor punishable by a fine up to $1,000, imprisonment up to one year in county jail, or both

Violations also constitute an unlawful trade practice under Section 75-24-5, subjecting violators to additional remedies and penalties under that statute
