Requires the Commissioner of Public Safety to set salaries for sworn law enforcement officers in the Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division and Capitol Police equal to the salaries of equally ranked officers in the Mississippi Highway Patrol, using the existing Highway Patrol pay scale.

Applies the Department of Public Safety Sworn Officers Salary Schedule to these officers, with ranks ranging from Trooper ($46,950) to Colonel ($119,500), determined by years of experience and merit-based promotion.

Mandates that the Commissioner obtain approval from the State Personnel Board when setting these equal salaries.

Effective July 1, 2023.
