Amends Mississippi Code Section 23-15-753 to add fraudulently and knowingly requesting or submitting an absentee ballot as a form of "vote fraud"

Penalties for vote fraud include fines of $500 to $5,000, up to 1 year in county jail, or 1 to 5 years in state penitentiary

Prohibits paying or compensating ballot assistance workers based on the number of absentee voters assisted or ballots cast

Violations of the compensation provision carry fines of $1,000 to $5,000, imprisonment of 1 to 5 years, or both

Effective date: July 1, 2023
