Requires written request to the Joint Committee on Compilation, Revision and Publication of Legislation to receive physical, bound volumes of the Mississippi Code of 1972, changing from automatic distribution to opt-in basis.

Clarifies that successors in office may opt-in to receive bound volumes of the Code and subsequent periodic updates if their predecessor failed to deliver them.

Authorizes the Joint Committee to contract with a publisher to provide electronic access to the Mississippi Code and its updates, rather than limiting contracts to specific technological mediums.

Repeals Section 1-1-58, which required the Joint Committee to contract for publication and free distribution of advance sheets of general laws to state agencies, courts, and bar members.

Brings forward Sections 1-1-57 and 1-1-60 without substantive changes, maintaining provisions for purchasing and distributing code supplements and enabling University of Mississippi Law School to exchange codes with other states.
