Prohibits state agencies and political subdivisions from entering contracts with companies valued at $40,000 or more unless the company provides written verification that it does not discriminate against firearm entities, knife entities, or their trade associations.

Amends Mississippi Code Section 45-9-51 to prohibit counties and municipalities from adopting ordinances or entering contracts/rental agreements that restrict possession, carrying, transportation, sale, transfer, or ownership of firearms, ammunition, or knives.

Extends the same firearms and knife possession protections to state agencies and creates a civil cause of action allowing citizens to file suit for declaratory and injunctive relief against state agencies that violate these restrictions, with potential liability of up to $1,000 plus attorney's fees.

Exempts state law enforcement agencies from the regulations when governing firearms or knives issued or used by officers in their official duties.

Takes effect July 1, 2023, and applies only to contracts entered into on or after the effective date.
