Increases child-support percentages for obligors with monthly gross income of $1,500 or above: one child from 14% to 16%, two children from 20% to 24%, three children from 22% to 28%, four children from 24% to 31%, and five children from 26% to 34% of adjusted gross income.

Establishes new low-income child-support guidelines for obligors with monthly gross income below $1,500: one child at 14%, two children at 22%, three children at 26%, four children at 29%, and five children at 32% of adjusted gross income.

Adds provision for six or more children to receive an additional 2% for each additional child beyond five under both income categories.

Maintains existing provisions requiring courts to make written findings when applying guidelines would be unjust or inappropriate, and requires consideration of health insurance coverage for children in all support orders.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
