Authorizes wiretaps for felony crimes other than narcotic-related offenses in Mississippi, requiring applications to be made in writing under oath to a circuit court judge.

Requires applications be jointly requested by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement (police chief and/or sheriff) and submitted by a prosecutor.

Applications must include details about the felony offense, location and nature of communications to be intercepted, identity of suspects, and why alternative investigative procedures have failed or are unlikely to succeed.

Requires disclosure of all previous wiretap applications involving the same persons, facilities, or places and their outcomes, plus statement of results for extension requests.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
