Amends candidate qualification procedures for county election commissioners, state/party offices, municipal offices, independent candidates, and judicial offices to require submission of citizenship proof alongside existing filing requirements.

Mandates that election commissions and executive committees determine citizenship status as part of candidate qualification review, with authority to reject candidates who fail to provide citizenship documentation or proof.

Applies to all candidate qualification deadlines across various election types, including primary elections, general elections, municipal elections, and special elections to fill vacancies.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
