Establishes a Medication Aide Certification program administered by the Mississippi Department of Health (MDOH) for personal care homes-assisted living facilities, with certification requiring completion of a minimum 15-hour training program.

Permits certified medication aides to administer routine and PRN medications by oral, inhalation, topical, eye/ear/nasal, and insulin/anaphylactic injection routes under supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, excluding other injectable, vaginal, and rectal medications.

Sets minimum competencies for medication aides including confidentiality, infection control, accurate documentation, safety practices, and compliance with limitations on their scope of practice.

Requires biennial renewal of medication aide certification based on competency, with registration fees not to exceed $25 for initial certification and $10 for renewal, and mandates 2 hours of continuing education every two years.

Establishes a Medication Aide Registry maintained by MDOH and provides applicants and registrants with informal conference and formal hearing rights if the department proposes to deny, refuse renewal of, or remove a registration.
