Redirects various motor vehicle license tag fees from the State General Fund to the Motor Vehicle Ad Valorem Tax Reduction Fund, including standard license tag fees, distinctive university tag fees, and Ducks Unlimited and Rebuild the Coast.org tag fees.

Reduces fees for several special license tags: amateur radio plates from $15.00 to $0.75, antique vehicle plates from $25.00 to $1.25, personalized plates from $30.00 to $13.75, firefighter plates from $50.00 to $43.00, law enforcement plates from $50.00 to $43.00, and legislature member plates from $50.00 to $43.00.

Eliminates portions of fees from distinctive license tags that were previously deposited into the State General Fund for firefighter, law enforcement, legislature member, and other special plates.

Redirects unexpended amounts above $500,000 in the Department of Revenue License Tag Acquisition Fund from the State General Fund to the Motor Vehicle Ad Valorem Tax Reduction Fund starting in fiscal year 2023.

Becomes effective July 1, 2023.
