Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-5-39 to criminalize the sterilization of a child chemically or physically as felonious child abuse.

Adds two new acts to the definition of felonious child abuse: sterilizing any child chemically or physically, and facilitating the sterilization of any child chemically or physically.

Conviction under these new provisions subjects offenders to imprisonment in the Department of Corrections for not less than 5 years up to life, with second or subsequent convictions resulting in mandatory life imprisonment.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
