Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-37-31 to legalize possession of firearm suppressors manufactured, purchased, and possessed within Mississippi without a federal tax stamp.

Defines "suppressor" using the term "silencer" as defined in 18 U.S.C. Section 921.

Maintains existing prohibition on manufacture, sale, or possession of suppressors by persons or entities not authorized under federal law.

Retains criminal penalties of up to $500 fine and/or 30 days in county jail for violations of the suppressor restrictions.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
