Appropriates $5,994,664.00 from the State General Fund to the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024).

Appropriates $50,000.00 from the Second Injury Fund (Fund 3352300000) for payments under Section 71-3-73, Mississippi Code of 1972.

Authorizes 55 permanent positions for the Commission with restrictions on salary escalations and transfers without Department of Finance and Administration approval.

Reappropriates $75,000.00 from the Capital Expense Fund for infrastructure improvements and ADA compliance to the Commission's building, limited to unexpended balances from the previous fiscal year.

Establishes performance targets for fiscal year 2024 including case resolution timeframes (900-950 cases resolved within 3-12 months), self-insurer review percentages, and medical cost containment goals ($35 million in fee schedule adjustments and 46% medical cost savings).
