Appropriates $4,000,000 from the State General Fund to the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi for fiscal year 2024 (July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024)

Funds designated for infrastructure improvements in the Midtown area of Hattiesburg, including roads, bridges, drainage, sidewalks, and stormwater detention

Additional eligible uses include land acquisition, utility relocation, and lighting improvements in the Midtown district

State Treasurer authorized to disburse funds upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer based on properly signed requisitions
