Offers the Mississippi Legislature's congratulations to Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., from Olive Branch, Mississippi, for winning the 2023 Daytona 500 on February 19, 2023.

Recognizes the race as historic with a record 212 laps in double overtime, making it the longest running of "The Great American Race" and extending the distance 530 miles.

Acknowledges that Stenhouse's win for JTG Daugherty Racing marked the first Daytona 500 victory by a team co-owned by an African American man and woman (Tad and Jodi Geschickter) and included Brad Daugherty, the first African American car owner to win the race.

Notes that this was Stenhouse's third career victory and first win in a 199-race winless streak, qualifying him for the NASCAR playoffs for only the second time in his career.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Stenhouse and his family and forwarded to NASCAR's home office and the Capitol Press Corps.
