Commemorates the 50th anniversary of the University of Southern Mississippi Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 432, established in 1969 with its first commissioning class in May 1973

Recognizes the program has commissioned 584 Air and Space Force officers as 2nd Lieutenants, with some graduates reaching the rank of General and serving in specialized roles such as U-2 pilots and Special Tactics Officers

Honors the 2023 commissioning class of five graduates: Logan Lando, Noel Parrett, Christian Rapetti, Mert Sahin, and Julianna Vaughn

Notes the detachment currently has 31 cadets and is commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Sheena Puleali'i

Directs the resolution be presented to the AFROTC Detachment 432 Commander, USM President Dr. Joseph S. Paul, and the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning
