Commends the Pascagoula Resurrection Catholic School "Eagles" baseball team for winning their first-ever MHSAA Class 1A State Baseball Championship on May 26, 2022, defeating Biggersville 4-0 in a series sweep.

Honors Head Coach Johnny Olsen, who retired after six years with the program, and recognizes assistant coaches Lee Tingle (who passed away after the season), Aron Frederic, and Jon Reynolds.

Recognizes the championship roster of 28 student-athletes, including standout senior pitcher Joe Scarborough who pitched all seven innings in Game 2 with 82 pitches, six strikeouts, two hits allowed, and no walks.

Notes the Eagles finished the season with a 33-5 record and that the team was determined to succeed after finishing as runners-up in 2021.
