Commends the 2022 Belmont High School "Lady Cardinals" volleyball team for winning back-to-back MHSAA 2A State Championships, defeating Sacred Heart 3-0 on October 21, 2022.

Team finished with a 34-5 record and swept through the 2A Playoffs, winning sets 25-12, 25-17, and 25-13 in the championship game.

Junior outside hitter Kerstin Moody earned MVP honors with 19 kills, with junior Meredith Eaton also recognized for her performance with six kills in the second set.

Recognizes Coach Stephanie Cleveland and lists all 17 team members, 3 eighth-graders, and 4 team managers by name.

Resolution to be presented to Coach Cleveland and Principal Jeff Boren, forwarded to the Tishomingo County Board of Education, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
