Amends Mississippi Code Section 35-1-41 to authorize the State Veterans Affairs Board to provide interments in state veterans cemeteries under the federal Burial Equity for Guards and Reserves Act.

Expands eligibility for interment to include reserve component members, National Guard members, and ROTC members discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable.

Makes eligible for interment the spouses and minor or unmarried adult children of qualifying reserve, National Guard, and ROTC members.

Requires individuals submitting applications to pay all interment costs unless federal or state aid is specifically provided.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
