Amends Section 63-3-519 to authorize law enforcement officers within the Commercial Transportation Enforcement Division (CTED) of the Department of Public Safety to operate radar speed detection equipment on any public street, road, highway, or right-of-way in the state for enforcing traffic laws applicable to commercial vehicles.

Amends Section 45-3-21 to authorize the CTED to enforce the Mississippi Motor Carrier Regulatory Law of 1938 and all traffic laws and regulations applicable to commercial vehicles, including authority to use radar speed detection equipment as defined in Section 63-3-519.

Defines the scope of CTED enforcement authority to commercial vehicles as defined in Section 63-19-3, operated within Mississippi.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
