House Bill 104 Summary

• Authorizes direct on-site supervisors of providers in managed care organizations to sign off on provider work during credentialing process if the provider has not been previously denied credentialing, allowing the provider to receive reimbursement for supervised work.

• Prohibits the Division of Medicaid from suspending reimbursement payments to providers during appeals of division decisions, except when the provider has a prior fraud conviction related to Medicaid.

• Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117 from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2025.
