Amends Section 7-1-1 to change the Governor's installation time to noon on the Tuesday next after the first day of the legislative session, or as soon thereafter as practicable.

Allows the installation time to be changed by concurrent resolution of both houses of the Legislature.

Amends Section 25-1-3 to align the commencement of office for all state officers (except Governor) to the Thursday next after the first day of the legislative session.

Makes conforming changes to Mississippi Code sections that were previously modified by House Bill 1276 from the 2023 Regular Session.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
