Transfers the Office of Mississippi Physician Workforce from the University of Mississippi Medical Center to the State Department of Health, with the office director to be appointed by the State Health Officer instead of UMMC.

Modifies the Mississippi Physician Workforce Advisory Board composition by removing the State Health Officer as a member and adding two designees from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine with one responsible for Graduate Medical Education.

Authorizes the Office of Mississippi Physician Workforce to award up to $3,000,000 in state funding for creation and support of ACGME accredited Family Medicine residency programs and other approved GME programs and fellowships.

Requires residency and fellowship programs funded under this chapter to accept students and trainees from both allopathic (M.D.) and osteopathic (D.O.) medical schools accredited by LCME or COCA.

Takes effect July 1, 2024, with funding for office operations and the advisory board to come from legislative appropriations.
