Amends Mississippi Code Sections 93-5-23 and 93-3-13 to exclude intellectual property created or accrued during marriage from consideration as marital property in divorce proceedings.

Intellectual property shall not be considered when determining spousal support, alimony, or distribution of assets during divorce.

Intellectual property is defined according to Mississippi Code Section 97-45-1.

Effective July 1, 2024.
