Amends Section 43-13-117 of the Mississippi Code to allow licensed registered nurses who are guardians of developmentally disabled children to receive Medicaid reimbursement for medically necessary services provided to those children in their household.

Requires the nurse guardian to obtain certification from the State Department of Mental Health demonstrating qualification by education, training, and experience to provide the specific types of services to the child.

Applies to services covered under the Medicaid waiver for home- and community-based services for developmentally disabled people.

Extends the repeal date of Section 43-13-117 from July 1, 2024, to July 1, 2028.

Effective July 1, 2024.
