Department of Finance and Administration shall transfer the Mississippi Department of Public Safety Highway Safety Patrol headquarters facility located at 1900 East Woodrow Wilson Avenue in Jackson, Hinds County to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (10.17 acres).

Transfer terms and conditions shall be determined by DPS, the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the Department of Finance and Administration through mutual agreement.

Potential property redevelopment uses include medical office pavilion replacement, comprehensive cancer center, post-acute care facility, or joint UMMC/Capitol Police administrative building.

Parties shall consider demolition costs, FAA helicopter flight patterns, Hinds County medical complex zoning requirements, and Jackson City Council zoning ordinances in determining transfer conditions.

State of Mississippi retains all mineral rights to the transferred property, and Department of Finance and Administration may correct legal description discrepancies.
