Amends Section 27-105-305 of Mississippi Code to clarify the bidding process for financial institutions seeking to serve as depositories for county, municipal, and school funds.

Requires boards of supervisors to publish bid notices in local newspapers at least once and simultaneously send standardized bid forms electronically to all qualified local financial institutions on the same day.

Mandates that bid notices include good contact information, direct institutions to use standardized forms provided by the State Treasurer's Office, and provide any additional information necessary for qualified bids.

Allows boards of supervisors to submit the matter to the State Treasurer instead of opening bids if accepting a bid would create a direct or indirect financial interest for a board member.

Effective July 1, 2024.
