Prohibits insurance companies from invalidating coverage for a lienholder, secured party, assignee, or other named interest holder when the vehicle owner intentionally acts or fails to act in a way that would normally void the policy

Applies to vehicle insurance policies made payable to the lienholder or secured party, or where their interest is named in the policy

Protects the financial interest of lienholders and secured parties even if the vehicle owner commits fraud, intentionally causes damage, or violates policy conditions

Effective July 1, 2024
