Amends Section 57-87-7 of Mississippi Code to revise the definition of "equipment used in the deployment of broadband technologies" for ad valorem tax exemption purposes.

Equipment placed in service on or before June 30, 2024 must have transmission capability of at least 384 kilobits per second in at least one direction to qualify for exemption.

Equipment placed in service after June 30, 2024 and before July 1, 2025 must have transmission capability of at least 25 megabits per second download and at least 3 megabits per second upload to qualify for exemption.

Qualifying broadband equipment deployed by telecommunications enterprises remains exempt from ad valorem taxation for ten years after being placed in service.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
