Prohibits telephone solicitors from making unsolicited calls to Mississippi residents regarding Medicare Advantage Plans, except when a person first initiates contact with the company or entity.

Excludes issuers of Medicare supplements from the insurance agent exemption in the Telephone Solicitation Act, making them subject to the same restrictions as other telephone solicitors.

Prohibits issuers of Medicare supplement policies or certificates from making telephone solicitations to advertise or solicit the purchase of Medicare supplement policies.

Includes exceptions allowing calls made in response to consumer-initiated contact regarding Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare supplements, subject to federal preemption under 42 USC Section 1395w-26(b)(3).

Effective date: July 1, 2024.
