Authorizes bail agents to engage extradition services to return principals held under "Hold Orders" in other jurisdictions, as an alternative to personally returning them at no cost.

Permits bail agents to engage law enforcement agencies to return principals when the other jurisdiction requires release only to law enforcement officers.

Requires extradition costs to be agreed upon and paid before extradition takes place, except in extraordinary circumstances.

Allows bail agents to request that "Hold Orders" be set aside and remit the full appearance bond amount to court if extradition costs exceed the bond amount.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
