MS HB1401

Prohibits polling places from being located at any facility that sells beer, wine, or liquor.

Defines "facility" as a location with a license to sell alcoholic beverages, excluding government-owned buildings and nonprofit organization buildings.

Applies the alcoholic beverage restriction to polling place regulations in municipal elections (Section 23-15-557) and county supervisor districts (Sections 23-15-281 and 23-15-285).

Effective July 1, 2024.
