Changes runoff election timeframes from three (3) weeks to four (4) weeks after the initial election across all Mississippi election types, including primary elections, general elections, special elections, and school board elections.

Applies to municipal primary elections, state primary elections, state general elections, county elections, congressional elections, judicial elections, and school district trustee elections.

Modifies Mississippi Code sections governing elections for state officers, county commissioners, municipal candidates, judges, congressional candidates, county board of education members, and school district trustees.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
