Prohibits residential roofing contractors from representing property owners in insurance claim negotiations before the claim is filed and from receiving payments from attorneys for claim referrals.

Requires post-loss assignments to residential roofing contractors to include itemized work descriptions, costs, a statement that the contractor makes no coverage assurances, and a notice about waiving insurance policy rights, with copies provided to insurers within five business days.

Increases required font size for cancellation notices and statements from 10-point to 12-point boldface type and takes effect July 1, 2024.
