Authorizes law enforcement agencies to require a global positioning monitoring system (GPS) as a condition of bail, probation, parole, or post-conviction release for individuals arrested and/or convicted of a second or subsequent violation of burglary and/or larceny.

Defines GPS as an electronic system using satellite technology to track location via a wearable transmitter, explicitly excluding any implanted or body-invasive tracking technology.

Requires individuals wearing GPS monitoring to pay a $250 fee to contribute toward the cost of the system.

Mandates the GPS monitoring entity notify the court and local law enforcement if the monitored person violates conditions of their release.

Amends Section 47-7-3.2 to require GPS monitoring as a condition of release for persons convicted of second or subsequent burglary and/or larceny offenses; effective July 1, 2024.
