Authorizes chancery courts to issue hardship driver's licenses to persons whose licenses were suspended due to non-compliance with child support orders, upon petition within 30 days of suspension.

Requires applicant to prove by clear and convincing evidence that license suspension would hinder employment, supported by independent documentation and a recommendation letter from the Mississippi Department of Human Services.

Hardship license costs $25.00, is valid for 4 years, looks substantially different from a regular license, and restricts driving to work and religious services only.

Prohibits hardship licenses for commercial motor vehicle operation and requires the Departments of Public Safety and Human Services to adopt regulations for implementation.

Effective July 1, 2024.
