Prohibits health insurers from denying a claim to a covered person solely because the person has not received a vaccine recommended or required by the State Health Officer.

Applies to all health insurance entities including insurance companies, HMOs, PPOs, managed care organizations, pharmacy benefit managers, and self-insured or publicly funded health plans offered by the state, school systems, and political subdivisions.

Effective July 1, 2024.
