Requires courts to immediately and automatically expunge records of cases where an arrest was made, the person was released, and the case was dismissed, charges were dropped, there was no disposition, or the person was found not guilty at trial.

Requires courts to automatically expunge records of persons arrested or cited for misdemeanors who are not formally charged or prosecuted within twelve (12) months of arrest, or upon dismissal of charges.

Mandates all law enforcement agencies and court clerks to promptly report expungements to the Mississippi Justice Information Center, which shall expunge and destroy all related records.

Establishes NIBRS (National Incident-Based Reporting System) compliance requirements for all state and local law enforcement agencies by December 31, 2025.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
