Declares records and proceedings of organ procurement organization peer review committees confidential and not subject to discovery or introduction in civil actions.

Prohibits peer review committee members and the committees themselves from revealing the identity of organ donors and recipients.

Provides immunity from liability for persons furnishing information to peer review committees and for committee members acting without malice and in reasonable belief their actions were warranted.

Permits testimony about matters within a witness's independent knowledge, but prohibits testimony regarding committee participation, testimony given to the committee, or opinions formed from committee proceedings.

Exceptions to confidentiality protections apply in legal actions brought by peer review committees against employees for wrongdoing or by aggrieved employees against the committee for alleged malicious actions; effective July 1, 2024.
