Establishes minimum reimbursement rates for ambulance service providers under accident and sickness insurance policies as the greater of: (1) rates contracted with or established by county, municipality, or special purpose district ordinance/regulation, or (2) 325% of Medicare's reimbursement for rural area services

Defines "ambulance service provider" as any person or entity providing ambulance transportation and emergency medical services that holds a permit under Mississippi Code Section 41-59-9

Caps minimum reimbursement at the provider's actual billed charges if those charges are less than the calculated minimum allowable rate

Specifies that insurance payments under this provision constitute payment in full for covered services, except for patient cost-sharing amounts (copayments, coinsurance, deductibles)

Takes effect July 1, 2024
