Authorizes issuance of state general obligation bonds up to $1,000,000 to assist Chickasaw County with repair, renovation, upgrades, and improvements to the Chickasaw County Courthouse in Houston, Mississippi.

Creates a special fund designated the "2024 Chickasaw County Courthouse Fund" within the State Treasury to receive bond proceeds and disburse funds for courthouse project costs and a commemorative plaque or sign.

Bonds may mature up to 25 years from issuance, bear interest within limits set by Section 75-17-101 of the Mississippi Code, and are backed by the full faith and credit of the State of Mississippi.

Bonds must be issued by July 1, 2028; any remaining funds after project completion or abandonment shall be applied to pay debt service on the bonds.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
