Suspends voting rights upon conviction for vote fraud, crimes listed in Mississippi Constitution Section 241, or crimes interpreted as disenfranchising by Attorney General opinions, but automatically restores voting rights once all sentencing requirements are satisfied.

Amends voter registration and election management statutes to implement automatic restoration of voting rights in the Statewide Elections Management System, state voter roll, and county pollbooks upon completion of sentencing.

Requires county registrars and election commissioners to receive regular reports of voters who have satisfied sentencing requirements and to automatically restore their voting eligibility.

Brings forward existing statutes on dueling-related disenfranchisement (Section 97-39-3) and voting rights restoration for honorably discharged veterans (Section 99-19-37) for possible amendment.

Effective July 1, 2024.
