Authorizes mileage reimbursement for poll managers and other voting precinct workers required to return to the registrar's office after polls close on election day.

Reimburses mileage at the federal employee rate for privately owned vehicles for miles traveled in excess of 10 miles.

Maintains existing compensation structure: poll managers receive $125.00 per election with board of supervisors discretion to add up to $75.00 additional per election.

Provides up to $25.00 per voting precinct for poll managers who transport ballots, ballot boxes, and poll books to voting locations and for returning officers.

Effective July 1, 2024.
