Amends Section 21-23-7 of Mississippi Code to revise expungement provisions for misdemeanor convictions in municipal court.

Allows persons convicted of misdemeanors in municipal court to utilize Section 99-19-71 expungement procedures if they were first offenders at the time of conviction, excluding traffic violations.

Maintains existing requirement that persons seeking expungement under subsection (6) must demonstrate two years of good conduct since last conviction and show rehabilitation.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
