Amends Mississippi Code Section 97-5-39 to expand the crime of contributing to the delinquency of a minor to include knowingly causing a child to violate the Uniform Controlled Substances Law.

Adds knowingly causing a child to participate in gang or gang-related activities to the list of acts constituting contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Maintains existing penalties for contributing to delinquency: a fine not to exceed $1,000, imprisonment not to exceed one year in jail, or both.

Applies to any parent, guardian, or other person who intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly commits these acts.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
