• Allows school boards managing sixteenth section lands to post additional notices at school offices, trade publications, or other locations and to accept electronic bids for timber sales.

• Brings forward sections 29-1-1, 31-7-13, 49-19-3, and 55-3-53 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 for potential future amendment without substantive changes in this legislation.

• Takes effect July 1, 2024.
