Removes the requirement that a county must have received funding for no more than eight rounds from the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Assistance Program to be eligible for additional matching assistance funds.

Allows counties and municipalities to receive matching assistance from the Rural Fire Truck Matching Assistance Fund if their application is approved and they lack sufficient funds to purchase a fire truck under the primary program.

Maintains the primary funding structure allowing counties to receive up to $1,010,000 for fire truck purchases through the Rural Fire Truck Fund, with per-truck limits ranging from $50,000 to $90,000 depending on the number of trucks already received.

Requires counties and municipalities to pledge local matching funds equal to at least one-tenth of the amount requested, which can be set aside over a period not exceeding ten years.

Total state assistance (primary and matching funds combined) cannot exceed 80% of the purchase price of any rural fire truck.
