Amends Mississippi Code Section 67-1-83 to allow counties, municipalities, tribes, and other political subdivisions with wet status to authorize package retailers to sell alcohol on Sunday between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. by resolution, ordinance, or other order.

Package retailers are not required to engage in Sunday sales and retain the right to operate only Monday through Saturday.

Political subdivisions that have authorized Sunday sales may prohibit them through an election called upon presentation of a petition signed by at least 20% or 1,500 qualified electors, whichever is less.

An election to prohibit Sunday sales requires 30 days' notice, and the prohibition takes effect only if at least 60% of voters vote "Against allowing" Sunday sales.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
