Designates the month of March each year as "Mississippi Musicians Month" to recognize and celebrate Mississippi's musical heritage and contributions to music globally.

Adds a new subsection (6) to Section 3-3-7 of the Mississippi Code of 1972 establishing the designation.

Recognition is intended to honor Mississippi musicians across all genres including Blues, Rock & Roll, Country, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel, and Jazz.

Notes that Mississippi has produced more Grammy Award winners per capita than any other state and has influenced virtually all mainstream commercial musical genres.

The designation serves as a day of recognition and observation but is not established as a legal holiday.
