Amends Section 43-13-115 of Mississippi Code to suspend Medicaid eligibility for incarcerated individuals rather than terminating it while they remain in custody.

Applies to persons who were eligible for and receiving Medicaid immediately before being admitted to state correctional facilities, county detention facilities, or municipal detention facilities.

Upon release from incarceration, eligible individuals automatically continue Medicaid coverage without needing to reapply or undergo a new eligibility determination.

Effective July 1, 2024.
